Today at tech we did wood work with Mr Grudy. I am makeing a truck. I first had to draw and the cut the wood.

tennis and futsal

Today we went to play tennis and futsal. We went to the Dunkirk Reserve and played. We first played tennis Neville, the tennis coach, was teaching some tricks and how to play. We first started off with a warm up. We had to bounce the ball on the ground with the racket and then we had to get into buddy's I went with Viva. I went on the one side  and she on the other. I threw the ball and hit it with the racket. After 40 minutes of playing tennis we played futsal. We first got into groups.  I was on the red team. The other teams were white and black. We went first played the white team. We unfortunately lost and had a rest while the black and white team went on. They were both good then I was in the red team again. We were good but the black team ended up winning  2-1. I want to say a big thank you to Martin and Neville for letting us play futsal and Tennis in their area.

Kokako Bird

Today we did a DLO on the Kokako Birds I worked with Savelina Magenta and Shakaia. We had to find out what the Kokako Birds eat what they where they live and what is the Kokako Bird predator.

Today we had to make photo story of our Journey at camp. My favourite highlights was the high ropes and the Relays.

Five Minutes of camp

On Wednesday at camp our group did the high ropes course. As JR put the harness on me I was shaking. My heart was pounding as I climbed up and finally got to the beam. I started walking but I felt really scared and My body was shaking I

Finally got to the other side. I hugged the pole but then had to walk back. I walked back to the middle and was so scared. My heart was racing as I kept walking. Then I had to lean back and let go of the rope. I let go and went down slowly as my group was cheering for me. Finally got to the ground and was so happy.

Today we had to do a five minute recount on our favourite thing we did at camp. My favourite activity was the high ropes.

E-ako Maths

Today I did E-ako maths and I did Geomorty and Measurement today I had to measure the table and how the table sheet would fit on it. I also had to measure some of the other things

Hit the button

Today we went on hit the button and I did doubles to 5 from15 we had to answer the questions quickly before our time goes out. We have to practise our doubles and be able to know them off by heart.

Basic Facts

Today we did basic facts I went on this website and we did basic facts and takeaways. First there was no dots on this but every time I got an answer right I dot would come on this board if you get it wrong or you run out of time 2 or more dots gets took en out. This website is to make us know our basic facts just like that.
