The Inchape rock - Balled Poem



This week we have been focusing on the poem the inchcape rock. For this my favorite part was verse 10, because he deiced to steal all the treasure and be greedy but at the end he ended up going to hell for cutting the inchcape bell. 

Tech reflection - Rock cakes cooking


Today at tech I made rock cakes with Viva. We had to copy the instructions that were given to us on the board that Miss Tu'ipulotu gave us. If you want to make this you will need 1/2 cup of SR flour, choco chips, 1/2 cup of sugar,1/2 of cream. 1/4 oil, 1 egg than mix well. Than scoop onto flat baking tin and bake 180 for 15 minutes.

M&M's Research

 This week we have been learning about M&M's, and the history be hide it. The m&ms was first invited in 1941. M&ms were given to the soldiers to eat, since it doesn't melt and they could still enjoy it. For this I worked collaboratively with Freeman, San Kyaw and Jousha V. This task was very interesting

Tech reflection - Cooking

Today at tech @ Tamaki college we made Chocolate muffins. We first got into our new partners my partners was Sky & Savelina. We first had to get 1 cup of Self raising flour (1/2 of cup). Then we got 1 cup of sugar ( 1/2  of cup ). Then we had to get 1/2 of oil and 1/2 of cup of milk. When then had 1/4 cup og cocoa and we mixed it with the chocolate chips. We then had 1 tablespoon of Vanila esence and 1 egg. After we mixed all the ingredient together and we scoop 1 tbs in each muffin trays. We baked the muffins for 15 min then we took it out and we enojyed eating our muffins.

Unicycle Tricks


For key into evaluation our task was to find a video of someone doing unicycle tricks. We had to answer the questions from the text of key into evaluation. Ridding a unicycle sounds interesting but almost difficult to ride, because you have to balance a lot.

Cooking - Tech Reflection


Today for tech we made quiche. For this I worked collaboratively with Joshua to make this. The process of making this was confusing because we didn't have enough pastry to fill all 12 spaces and we had to use it wisely. For this we used milk,eggs,pastry,ham,cooking spary,cheese. We had to copy the instructions on the board. 

Kiwi Can - Reflection

In kiwi can today we have been focusing on accountability. Accountability means taking Responsibility for our own actions if you are being accountable you have to take responsibility. At school we can show this by bringing our PE gear and deodorant to school on Thursdays  and getting change before the bell goes after lunch.

Adjectives



In writing we have been focusing on adjectives and nouns. For this I worked collaboratively with Joshua. The words that are covered with yellow is adjectives and the words covered in blue are nouns. We had to write about the picture on the side and describe it. 

Food Tech- Reflection

Today was our 2nd rotation at tech. Today we learnt how to make chocolate muffins with Mrs. Tuipulotu. To learn this we had to read the board for the instructions on what to do. This was going to help us with learning how to cook without being told on what to do by the teacher and by reading carefully. The recipe for this if you wanna learn how to make it is. 1/2 of milk, 1/4 flour, 1 whole of flour, 1/2 sugar 1/4 of  (coca powder) canola oil 1/3) and mix well with a spatula

Brooklyn Hypothesis: I think i’m going to be good at test 1 because I get to see when the ruler is going to drop. My brain is going to send signals so I can hold onto the ruler when its released.

I have done good at test 1. Because I could see when the ruler is dropped. This was the easiest one for me. My hypothesis was right and I was good at test 1.
