  3. Hi Brooklyn. My name is Freya and I go to Paihia School. I love Jean Batten. She is one of my favorite people in NZ History. I had no idea she died from an untreated dog bite. I just guessed she died in a plane crash. Maybe next time add a little more detail.

  4. Hi Brooklyn my name is Tessa, and I go to Paihia School. WOW! I did not know about Jean Batten before I read this. That is quite amazing what she did, flying around the world for 14 days. Who knew she would die of a untreated dog bite. Maybe next time put a little more imformation.

  5. Hello Brooklyn, my name is Astin and I go to Paihia School. I like your presentation about Jean Batten. She is my favourite person is NZ history. Also I have done a report on Jean Batten myself and the reason that it is so dangerous to cross the Tasman sea from Australia is because NZ is A LOT smaller that Australia and it is easy to miss it.
