Times table warm ups

Today we used the game Hit the button to help us recall our 4x answers quickly I found it harder to find the answer. hard to find the question. So I will be practising this in my own time.

Dance

Today we first started off with dance. I was in Skys and Shakaia's group. First we watched a video the video we watched was very fascinating. Because the people we doing really cool shapes with there hands and was always connected. Then we had to plan out on a paper some ideas for our dance. Since it was 3 of us we had to make a different dance and make sure that we were all connected.

Understanding my timetables

Today for maths we were solving out our one hundreds and thousands timetables by using place value. These timetables where a bit challenging at first but became aright when I started doing them all the time

Today we had write Complex Sentences. And learn what complex,compound and simple sentences are example we are going home now.

Today I went on read theory And I had to read information about the text then I had  to answer questions about the information.

Tech

Today at Tech I was finishing off my truck. So far I'm nearly finished making my truck. I also had to write on a paper some ideas that would help with my work so it will get marks on it.

NZ Landfill

Today Jericho, Lyndon and I completed our informed opinions. We had to read two articles that had information on it about the amount of rubbish that is going to waste in New Zealand. We also had to answer what does NZ need to do and why. Our other question was NZ throws away 3.6 million tonnes of rubbish how does it make us feels.

This book is like the one I read about Maui and his brothers. In this story, Maui and his brothers go out on a boat to try and hunt for fish with Maui's speacial hook.	This is like when my sister always used to make trouble and never got into trouble. I think this is because she was the youngest	This book is good because the brother’s try to do some hard tasks and even though they were failing, the brothers kept on trying. The book Sons of Ma’afu is similar, because the brothers were given some difficult things to do, and even though they couldn't do them they keep trying their best.

Today we had to read a book called the sons of Ma'afu we had to make connections of text to world to to self and text to text. The book sons of Ma'afu is about a book of brothers that make trouble.

Current Events

Today I was working with Sky on why China should ban the buying and selling ivory. This is because  elephants and rhinos will be extinct if they kill them for their ivory. My opinion is they should stop killing animals for their Ivory and stop the selling.
