Samoan language week
Since Samoan language week is this week we decided to learn more about the culture. LS1 and some of LS2 collaborated together to do this challenge. I worked with Sky, Alyah and Liane. We used screencastify so you can hear us pronounce the months in Samoan.

Raurimu Spiral Research
In reading I answered all the questions to key into eveaolotion about the story Tunnel Vision. After answering all the questions my next task was to create a DLO that shows research about the Raurimu Spiral. Did you know that it took 10 years to build.
Wild Boar Facts.
I created a goggle draw about a wild boar. I first had to read the key into evaluation about wild boars. I than had to write facts about the wild boars. I had to label the eyes Tusk noes and ears on the wild boar.

Samona Traditonal Tatau
Vaiaso o le Gagana Samoa- Samoan Language week. This morning Sky, Liane, Alayah and I worked collaboratively to create a DLO about the Samoan Tatau. Which is the Samoan word for tattoo. We looked at some of the traditional ways in Samoan to get a tattoo. Heres the link of the video if the video doesn't work.

Two day wonder poem
We read the poem 2 day wonder and how he uses juxtaposition. To show our understanding we created our own poem about how we get dressed in the morning for school. I worked collaboratively with Hajera to do this poem. We used a word cline listed with powerful words to make our poem sound more interesting.

Hineahua
For inquiry we have been learning about the first women to be created according to the Moari Legends. Which is (Hineahia). We used storyboardthat to create this. We had to show how we think the first women came to earth.
The Unfinished Drink ( Ted d' Auvergne)
For reading we have been focusing on a poem that was dedicated to Ted d" Auvergne. He was a solider in the war. He bacame famous for his story about him. Savelina,Sky and I have created a presentation about him and the poem.

Family Tree
This is a family tree from the charters in the book Memorial. Sky and I have created a family tree that shows how the great grandfather served in WW1 and how the Grandfather served in WW2 and then the dad served in.
