Today San Kyaw and I were researching about winter solstice. I chose me and San Kyaw chose St. Lucia's day.

Today San Kyaw and I did a goggle drawing on the legend of the seven sisters. We had to listen to the youtube video to get information about the sisters.

Today I posted a blog comment on Paihia school in the bay of Islands. I posted on Sams blog I gave him feedback and really liked his writing.

Dance with Shakaia and Savelina

Today we were doing dance. We were focusing on how to order our dance and to make sharp shapes with out hands and movement.  We had to work together to make our dance work. My group was Savelina and Shakaia. All we need to focus on the beat and movements.

How we can reduce food waste.

Today our group started a new rotation. We were learning about food waste. I have made a poster on food waste and reasons why we should stop. I think we should stop throwing away food because. it goes to waste and people would like to have food because they can't afford food or is homeless.

Today we were learning poetry. In poetry I know how to understand a metaphor. And how I can find metaphors in poetry.

Our class has been learning how to write poetry. I learnt how to write an metaphor. A metaphor is a term or phrase that is used to make a comparison between two things that aren't alike but have something in common.

Language features

Today we were researching information about verbs synonyms and a Metaphor. We were also looking out
 language features in a poem.
